With almost 12 years games industry experience, I’ve been fortunate to work enough to work on over 30 titles so far in my career. My journey started back in 2012 with a 2 week placement at Team17 in their QA department. Soon after leaving university, I secured a job at Ubisoft Reflections, where I worked on titles such as Watch_Dogs and Just Dance. It was during this time, I discovered Community Management.
I’ve spent the last 11 years working in Social Media and Community Management, at studios such as Ubisoft Reflections, NM Games and 505 Games. Since 2016, I’ve called 505 Games my home. My day to day is focused on overseeing the 505 Games community team as Director of Global Community, as well as leading the social strategy and community engagement on titles such as DEATH STRANDING and Control.
Working on titles such as DEATH STRANDING and Control is an absolute honour. Not only because I get to work closely with the incredibly talented teams at KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS and Remedy Entertainment, but I also get to engage with the immensely creative Virtual Photographers in our communities. We’re always blown away by what our players can do in game with the tools available to them.
Outside of work, I love nothing more than travel and photography. Nothing beats packing my trusty camera and heading off somewhere new to explore! I adore street and motorsport photography in particular, so chances are if I’m not wandering the streets of a new country looking through the viewfinder of my trusty Canon 90D, I’ll be at a racetrack somewhere trying to nail that perfect panning shot!
