The Photo Mode Awards exist to celebrate virtual photography and the craft behind it. Our goal is simple: showcase outstanding in-game photography and tell the stories behind how those images are made.

Each annual issue captures everything that happened at the Photo Mode Awards that year. We feature winning and shortlisted images, highlight key moments from the PMAs, and reflect on how the scene has evolved over the past 12 months.

Beyond the awards, the magazine also looks forward. Each year, we spotlight upcoming and newly released games with photo modes that have caught our eye, highlighting titles we’re excited to see explored by the virtual photography community.

The magazine is published once a year, designed to be fully print-ready, and totally free.
